Sharp Prices, Domaine Dider Amiot Selection from 2020 & 2021

Domaine Didier Amiot is a focused, terroir-driven Burgundy estate based in Morey-Saint-Denis, formed after the 2020 restructuring of the historic Domaine Pierre Amiot et Fils. Under Didier Amiot’s direction, the domaine now works a precious 3.1-hectare collection of vineyards, including the grand cru Clos de la Roche and key parcels in Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin, giving the estate a clear identity rooted in the Côte de Nuits.

The wines are made with a careful, traditional approach that begins with all grapes being harvested by hand. Depending on the vintage, 70% to 100% of the stems are removed, followed by 5 to 7 days of cold soaking before fermentation with native yeasts. The wines are then aged for 15 to 18 months, with grand cru parcels matured in 50% new oak and premier cru wines in 30% new oak, before bottling at the estate.
