Champagne Rare is a luxury, well-matured cuvée with a blend of mainly Chardonnay with some Pinot Noir in a beautifully designed bottle. Only produced in the best vintages, it spends 12 years aging in the bottle before release. Due to its fantastic quality, limited production (much lower than other grand marques) and the gorgeous bottle design, it is widely popular around the globe so it is not always easily found in the market - very true to its name "Rare".
 
I have spotted that we have a few Champagne Rare 1999 in large formats that will be available shortly, bottles are difficult to find nowadays but magnums, which are made in much smaller quantities, are the real prize for any Champagne collector. The comparative rarity against bottles makes them scarce in the market when mature and that when older stocks do occasionally appear, they always sell quickly. A great vintage for this world-famous luxury brand and now available in arguably its most desirable format, I am delighted to offer:

A nicely toasty Champagne, with lots of smoke, brioche, lemon peel, honey, dried apricot and roasted nut flavors. Firm acidity provides a lovely freshness and framework, and it's seamlessly integrated with the flavors and refined texture. Features more nut and smoke notes on the long, lingering finish.
