Domaine Bzikot traces its origins to the late 1940s, when Sylvain Bzikot’s grandfather emigrated from Poland to the heart of Burgundy, first settling near Meursault before establishing roots in Puligny-Montrachet. Through successive generations, the family has expanded the estate, now stewarded by Sylvain, who doubled its holdings to about 13–15 hectares—including prized parcels in Puligny-Montrachet and two premier cru vineyards, Les Perrières and Les Folatières. Today, vines average 40–50 years old, yielding concentrated fruit that reflects the unique terroir of the Côte de Beaune.
 
Sylvain Bzikot’s winemaking philosophy is grounded in Burgundian tradition, emphasizing respectful farming and minimal intervention in the cellar. Grapes are picked by hand, with vinification that balances freshness and texture—typically maturing half the wine in gently used oak barrels for richness and the other half in stainless steel to preserve vibrancy and fruit. This measured approach brings forth wines that are pure, harmonious, and expressive, faithfully capturing the mineral-driven elegance of Puligny-Montrachet while delivering remarkable value across the range.
