Domaine Prieuré Roch stands as one of Burgundy’s most distinctive and pioneering domaines, founded in 1988 by Henri-Frédéric Roch, a visionary deeply rooted in the region’s winemaking heritage. With vineyards stretching across some of the Côte de Nuits’ most storied terroirs—including Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, and the rare Clos Goillotte monopole—the domaine quickly earned a reputation for wines that pulse with energy and authenticity. Henri-Frédéric Roch’s philosophy was uncompromising: meticulous organic and biodynamic viticulture, minimal yields, and a natural approach in the cellar, all in pursuit of the purest expression of Pinot Noir. The result is a portfolio of wines that are both soulful and singular, capturing the essence of their origins with remarkable clarity.
Since the passing of Henri-Frédéric Roch in 2018, the domaine has entered a new era, guided by the steady hands of winemaker Antonio Quari and manager Jannick Champ.
