Jessica Litaud, a rising star in Burgundy’s Mâconnais region, has quickly made a name for herself as one of the most exciting young vignerons of her generation. Rooted in a family with deep winemaking heritage in Vergisson, the heart of Pouilly-Fuissé, Jessica took the reins of her own domaine in 2019 after honing her craft under the tutelage of legendary natural wine producers Jean-François Ganevat and Jean-Marie Guffens.
Working organically and biodynamically on parcels of old vines, she produces small quantities of Chardonnay that are celebrated for their purity, mineral precision, and expressive terroir character. With a meticulous, hands-on approach—manual harvesting, gentle pressing, and extended élevage in old oak—her wines capture the essence of Vergisson’s limestone and marl soils, offering both immediate charm and impressive aging potential.
