Jacques Selosse is one of the best growers and most influential winemakers in Champagne with all Grand Cru holdings in Avize, Cramant and Oger, making a fantastic range of champagnes in their usual styles and lieux-dits. He believes in low yields, organic viticulture and terroir, and over the years, he has grown a strong following from Champagne drinkers all around the world and has inspired many young producers with his winemaking philosophy. The management has passed to Anselme's son, Guillaume, also followed in his footsteps and had been shadowing his dad for years before he made his first Champagne from his single vineyard in 2009 and has made a great name for himself since. One of his cuvées, "Au Dessus du Gros Mont", is made from vines gifted from his grandmother when he turned 18 and is widely believed to be as good as his dad's!  It is an emotional and dynamic wine with energy, a top-quality cuvee not to be missed.
