After having spent time working for the famous Coche-Dury, Arnaud Ente decided to produce his own wines and started to rent vines in Meursault from his father-in-law Thevenot in 1992. With Arnaud Ente's incredible talent, he quickly made a name for himself in the world of Burgundy and was considered to be comparable to other top names in Meursault like Dominique Lafon, Coche Dury and Roulot. Over the years, Arnaud has acquired vineyards of his own and now owns around 4 Ha including several 1er Crus in Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. His top wines are fermented for 11 months in oak barrels before they are put in a tank for an additional 6 months of maturation. The wine is then bottled without fining or filtration. The resulting wines have buttery richness, combined with minerality and terroir expression.
