A family which was established in Burgundy way back in 1350 and founded its estate in 1981 by Bernard Bichot, the family has maintained the ownership and management for 6 generations now. Nowadays, the estate is managed by Alberic Bichot (since 1996) and produces wines from over 100 hectares of vineyards. For all “Domaine” productions by which the family owns the vineyards, they are labeled under different names for different region productions, such as "Domaine d’Adélie" in Mercurey, "Domaine Long-Depaquit" in Chablis, "Domaine du Clos Frantin" in Cote de Nuits, "Domaine du Pavillon" in Côte de Beaune, etc. Other than the Domaine arms, the estate takes serious care in selection of grapes and vinifies their wines in their large facility to guarantee the quality of every bottle under Albert Bichot.

Albert Bichot Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru 2015 has not been rated by wine critics but Vintage 2016 received a massive 94-96pts by Neal Martin, who said it is “harmonious” and “a really classy and sophisticated finish” and concluded it as “One of the best from Albert Bichot this year.”
