I have a lovely parcel of one of the great ‘insider’ wines of Burgundy to offer – Comte de Vogue’s legendary Bourgogne Blanc  – a wine which we can otherwise refer to as declassified Musigny Blanc Grand Cru. Given how astronomically rare this wine is, this
 
As you may know, following extensive replanting in the early to mid-1990’s, Vogue were for nearly 25 years required to bottle their mythical Musigny Blanc as lowly Bourgogne instead, waiting for the vines to age and produce fruit of better intensity. This meant exceptional early vintages in the late 1990’s thanks to the young vine effect, followed by a bit of a lull; now, with vines approaching the target age of 25 years, each vintage is putting on weight, becoming ever closer to what Eric Millet, technical director, believes to be the required age when perfection can be attained.
 
2015 signaled the first release of Musigny Blanc since 1993, the wines have been regarded as Grand Cru status following a heavy increase in market prices since 2015. Production is miniscule as the plot of Musigny Blanc is just 0.65ha in size, we are delighted to offer a few Vintage 2008 & 2009, which are just about half of the prices compare with 2015 – 2019:
