Dominique Laurent focus on buying old vines across many appellations in Bourgogne. Most of the wines are in negotiant arm and Dominique Laurent works with the grower very closely to ensure the quality of the grapes which makes him busy throughout the year. He believes that Vieilles Vignes (old vines) gives the complexity and texture to the wines so his style in winemaking is also distinct in which he applies more oak than most other winemakers in Burgundy which his wines turn out to be very powerful, richly flavored and complex.
