Henri Giraud is a prestigious name known for producing rich, extensive, and powerful wine. Founded way back in 1625, Henri Giraud is one of the oldest Champagne houses in the region and is still a family-run business that is currently owned by twelfth-generation Claude Giraud, with his son managing the company while his son-in-law is the head winemaker.
 
Their wines are 100% oak-fermented and the house insists on producing with oak casks from the forest in Aÿ to impose the forest terroir into the wine, giving it one of the most unique flavors among Champagnes in the world. It's powerful with lots of substances, and with further aging in bottles, they develop extended dimensions which are among the top favorites of wine professionals and connoisseurs.
