The Gros family has been making excellent wine in Burgundy since the early 1800s when Alphonse Gros married Madame Latour and acquired their first parcels of vines in Vosne-Romanee. Anne-Françoise Gros, who later married François Parent of Pommard, has been a remarkable producer in Vosne Romanee and Beaune with elegance and finesse.
 
Anne-Françoise Gros inherited part of the vineyards from Domaine Jean Gros, later she bought and leased a few and also part of the share from Domaine Parent. Nowadays, From Vintage 2020, Domaine A-F Gros produced a new big cuvee of Vosne-Romanee Suchots 1er Cru which the grapes came from her sister Anne Gros which are just next to Le Richebourg Grand Cru, the vines are planted over 70 years ago and only two barrels are produced.
