New Addtions of Vougeraie Grand Crus: Clos Vougeot, Corton-Charlemagne & Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet
Lying in the southern part of the famous terroir Les Amoureuses, Domaine de la Vougeraie owns a number of fantastic terroirs in Bourgogne, including 6 Grand Crus such as Musigny, Bonnes-Mares, and Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyeres, and are all managed by Pascal Marchand and Pierre Vincent. They offer a broad selection from village to Grand Cru that never disappoints drinkers. All their vineyards are accredited in biodynamic farming and have small yields as they are very strict in the picking of grapes to make sure only the highest-standard grapes go into the wine. In addition, their wines are never over-oaked and are charming from young to mature, always fragrant, delicate, and pure. They have long been one of our favourites and we always keep an eye out for them and snatch them up whenever the price is right, which is what we would recommend any Burgundy drinker to do too!
