Domaine Jacques Cacheux was created in 1950s which Jacuqes Caheaux started to manage the grapes by himself to produce wines instead of selling them to negotiant. He retired in 1994 and Patrice CaCheaux took over the job to manage the family estate until now. They only manage 7 hectares in Vosne Romanee and Chambolle Musigny, with the most renowned terroirs of Echezeaux Grand Cru and Vosne Romanee La Croix Rameau 1er Cru which was included in Romanee St Vivant Grand Cru ages ago.
 
Patrice Cacheux made massive changes in the vineyard and cellar, they changed to biodynamic practice and grapes are completely de-stemmed, natural yeasts are used over fermentation and 100% new oak are used to 1er Cru and Grand Cru cuvees. When the finish the wines, there isn’t any filtration as well. The village wines are very approachable when young, and the top cuvee of Echezeaux and Vosne Romanee La Croix Rameau 1er Cru have ability to age excellently well for 5-10 years.
