Palmer & Co is a Champagne house with a long history dating back to 1947. Their story began when 7 different but equally passionate winegrowers came together to create wines that were meticulously and passionately produced, and they have since been known to craft elegant Champagnes that last over time but also continually evolve. The Champagnes at Palmer & Co are currently crafted by Cellar Master Xavier Berdin who works with 4 oenologists throughout the production process to uphold the excellent quality of their wines year after year. Their vintage wine is a quest for harmony and balance, in which they select the grapes carefully from iconic Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in Mailly, Verzenay, Rilly-la-Montagne, Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses, Trépail and Villers-Marmery. Among their range, the Grands Terroirs is a combination of prestigious Premiers and Grands Crus vineyards of the Montagne de Reims and has a reputation for power, structure and nobility. They go through slow ageing on the lees to attain the finesse and balance that Palmer & Co is known for. 

Today we are pleased to be offering Palmer & Co's Grands Terroirs from the 2003 vintage - made from 56% Pinot Noir and 46% Chardonnay and aged on the lees for 12 years then disgorged in 2017, this is a wine that had needed patience but has remarkable purity to offer now after further ageing.
