De Saint Gall holds excellent parcels of vineyards in Champagne and have been supplying grapes to Grand Marques like Taittinger for their production of Comtes de Champagne, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle and Dom Perignon over the years. Their Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are cultivated on Grand Cru and Premier Cru terroirs in some of Champagne's loveliest villages. Apart from supplying grapes to Champagne houses in the region, De Saint Gall also produces quite an extensive range of cuvees under their own name as well. Among their portfolio, Orpale Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru vintage champagne may be one of the most well-known from the house, but they also have a nice selection of non-vintage bottles that are of equally good quality but at even more accessible prices that are perfect for daily drinking, one of which is the Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru. The Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes from the premier cru vineyards in the Cote de Blancs region and undergo at least 3 years' maturation with lees. The resulting cuvee offers a lovely pale color with a delicate effervescence, with a nose of white flowers and linden. It is delicate, mineral and superbly fresh on the palate.
