Domaine Guy Bocard is located at the heart of Meursault with history going back several generations and are known to make some of the finest wines in the region. They have a holding of around 5.8 hectares of vineyards purely in white. With a great holding of 60-year-old Chardonnay vines, the Domaine is largely rewarded thanks to Guy’s father’s hard work over the years. They have continued to follow the traditional methods of winemaking and have turned to organic farming in recent years. Their premier crus are fermented and aged in French oak barrels for at least 12 months, and up to 24 months, along with a further 7 years of aging in the domaine, ensuring that the wines develop the finesse and beautiful aromas and are expressive of the terroirs they come from.

Today we are pleased to offer a few selections from Guy Bocard 2012 and 2013 which were just released from the domaine in early 2021 and were directly shipped from the cellar of Guy Bocard so the conditions remain pristine and are at their prime to taste! Having arrived last week, we pulled out a bottle of the Guy Bocard Meursault Limozin 2013 yesterday and it was irresistible. Our tasting notes as follows -
