The most hallowed name in the world of Burgundy, possibly even the entire world of wines, given its quality and longevity of their wines, as well as the prices they fetch on the secondary market, DRC owns or leases a total of 27.99 hectares of grands crus in Vosne-Romanée, Chassagne-Montrachet and (since 2009) Corton, including La Tâche, Romanée Saint-Vivant, Echézeaux, Grands Echézeaux, Richebourg, La Romanée Conti, Corton Bressandes, Le Montrachet, Corton Clos du Roi, Corton Renardes and Bâtard-Montrachet. These vineyards are all excellently located and have converted to complete biodynamics since 2007 after seven years of experimenting with the methods. In the cellar, there are no special tricks but emphasis on minimal intervention in which the owner Aubert de Villaine has said that "the ideal is to do nothing but that is clearly impossible".
Today we have two parcels to offer - one consisting of two bottles with Romanee Conti 2009 and La Tache 2015; and another a 2009 assortment of five reds including La Tache, Richebourg, Romanee-St-Vivant, Grands Echezeaux and Echezeaux.
