💗✨From Grapes in Vosne-Romanee, 2023 Boigey Freres Bourgogne Rouge

A relatively new and exciting estate in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Boigey Freres has attracted lots of attentions in these years. The domaine originates from one of the older families in Vosne-Romanée, previously known as Domaine Albert Noirot and it’s now run by two brothers Guillaume and Olivier Boiget who returned to the family domaine in 2015. Their first vintage under the Domaine Boigey Frères label was in 2019.
 
The 2023 vintage marked a significant step up in quality, highly recommended by Winehog's Steen Öhman as "a step up for the domaine in Vosne’s ranks" and "These are wines that should be considered by all who love good Vosne wines". They earned a place on the Vin d'émotion list for Vosne-Romanée from Steen Öhman, Winehog.
 
Domaine Boigey Freres Bourgogne 2023 comes from Chassagne Corvées in Vosne Romanée, the production is miniscale with a tiny 1-hectare vineyard and low yield of 40hl/ha. A fantastic option to explore the new rising star without breaking the bank, we are delighted to offer:

87-88pts Steen Öhman, Winehog 
From the regional vineyard Chassagne Corvées, located below the main RD974 behind the chai of Regis Forey. This is a fine Villlages in 2023. It’s elegant and expressive, with the openly knit style of the vintage. Lovely notes of griottes and hints of raspberries. The 2023 has more energy and, especially, a hedonistic charm. This is really enjoyable.
