Francois Raveneau is arguably the best domaine in Chablis and they have been producing a lot of star buys for Burgundy collectors over the years. They are considered to have the same status of top producers Coche Dury, Leflaive and Ramonet, producing incredible Chardonnays with full potential to age. They are easily one of the names that Burgundy drinkers may miss but they are indeed one of the best samples of Chardonnays, it wouldn't be surprising that many of these are as good as Montrachets.
