The Original Boërl & Kroff! Half of the prices compare with 1995, 1998 & 2002
Champagne Boërl & Kroff was created by two friends Patrick Sabaté and Stéphane Sésé and debuted with the release of their 1995 vintage. The champagne house was previously run by the De Gaulle family who produced Champagne Drappier, the house that used to provide for King Louis XVI and a favorite of General Charles de Gaulle, and in December 2019, Stéphane Sésé solely took the reins.
All Boërl & Kroff cuvees are produced following traditional vinification methods using only quality ingredients and only in a good vintage. The wines are made with the assistance of Michel Drappier. The Boërl & Kroff vintage wines are aged for a minimum of 12 years on the lees. Production is miniscule with only approximately 2,500 to 3,000 magnums produced in only those exceptional years when the quality is deemed high enough for Boërl & Kroff to produce a vintage Champagne, and occasionally much less.
Boërl & Kroff only released one edition of non-vintage in the past, made in the highest standard. William Kelley is certainly a fan of the gastronomic Champagne who has described this fascinating project -
" Boërl & Kroff's eye-watering prices naturally beg a lot of questions. But I must confess that the wines are genuinely impressive, and any readers who admire vinous, concentrated Champagnes will find much to admire here".
A chance to explore the original Boërl & Kroff without breaking the bank, we are delighted to offer the non-vintage Magnums at HK$12,900 per Mag -
