A famed Grand Cru vineyard from Vosne-Romanee, Romanee-St-Vivant has quite the reputation for being the lightest and most delicate of the Pinot Noir Grand Cru wines within the region, and are held in high regard among connoisseurs.It is situated on the lower slopes of the Côte d'Or escarpment in Vosne-Romanée, below Richebourg and Romanee-Conti which are on the hillside above (check out map below), and is the largest climat in the village, covering 9.4 hectares.
