A two bottle set of very old Colheita tawny port from the 1870 and 1970 harvests produced and bottled by The Last Drop Distillers in a limited edition of just 770 sets across the world. It gives collectors and serious port drinkers the chance to taste two single harvest tawnies from the same Douro estate separated by one hundred years.
 
The 1870 comes from pre phylloxera vines and has spent generations maturing in old wooden casks which has preserved both depth and balance. The 1970 is from post phylloxera vines and shows a brighter and more energetic profile while still reflecting long cask ageing and complex development.
 
Each collection includes two full size wax-dip bottles and two 50ml miniatures so the wines can be tasted without opening the main bottles. The duo is presented in an individual presentation case with certificate and supporting materials making it suited for long-term cellaring gifting or marking a major personal or business milestone.
