The La Grande Annee is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourced only from Grand Cru and 1er Cru grapes, it is aged for almost 10 years in Bollinger’s chalky cellars. The wines are vinified in old oak barrels with micro-oxgenation to give extra finesse to the wine, every bottle of La Grande Annee is riddled and disgorged by hand nowadays.
