Gusbourne Estate is a prestigious English winery located in Kent and West Sussex, recognized as the most awarded producer of English sparkling wines. The estate dates back to 1410 and was established as a vineyard in 2004, focusing exclusively on growing the classic Champagne grape varieties-Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier-across its 60 hectares in Kent and 30 hectares in West Sussex.
 
This renowned estate has gained acclaim not only for its sparkling wines but also for its exceptional still wines, crafted with the same meticulous care from estate-grown grapes in Kent and Sussex. Gusbourne’s still wines showcase purity and complexity, with the Chardonnay wines offering vibrant citrus, tropical fruit, and delicate floral notes. The Gusbourne Estate Guinevere Chardonnay is one of the estate’s most awarded wines; it is 100% whole-bunch pressed and undergoes 10 months of aging in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new oak. This wine is particularly interesting to explore, as it also benefits from further aging in the bottle, revealing even greater depth and brightness in the glass.
