A small estate located in Bouzy, André Clouet lies in the heart of Grand Cru vineyards in which Pinot Noir is planted. The family-owned estate is now managed by Jean-François Clouet and they own 9 hectares of vines in Bouzy and Ambonnay, which most of these vineyards are classified in Grand Cru status and give the best ingredients of the fantastic Champagne grower and producer.
 
André Clouet’s wines are fermented in small vats and aged in the chalky underground cellar which is under 10 meters from the ground, a cool and humid cellar which let the Champagnes to age peacefully before release. Many works are still processed by hand including racking and disgorging.  
 
The rare vintage wines from André Clouet are called Dream Vintage. Unlike their usual cuvee, it is harvested from the best vineyards in Bouzy and is a 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc. Part of the vineyards come from old vines right next to Bollinger's ungrafted vines in Bouzy (to produce Vieilles Vignes Françaises!) so it is an interesting Champagne which is outstanding and will evolve over time.

A rich and almost opulent champagne for lovers of mature chardonnay. As much melted butter as candied-lemon and orange character. Glides over the palate into the very silky finish, the touch of salinity creating a wonderful tension with the creaminess.
