Philipponnat Clos des Goisses is the best kept secret in Champagne – a single vineyard plot which spreads over 5.5 hectares, planted with around 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. The plot of vineyard has been separated into 16 individual plots with different ages of vines. It is unique compared to any other single vineyard in Champagne as it is south-facing on an extremely steep slope, making the fruits - hence the wines produced - extra fruity and rich in flavour. Dosage is kept low around 4-5g/l to truly reflect this terroir-driven Champagne. With the unique qualities of this Champagne, it has a serious position among Champagne connoisseurs and sommeliers.
 
Philipponnat L.V. Long Vieillissement is a recent release and is a fantastic choice for drinkers who enjoy Champagne with a bit of bottle age complexity.
