Klein Constantia continually strive to produce wines in more environmentally responsible ways, adopting as many organic and biodynamic practice as possible. Among their range, their most notable production may be the Vin de Constance which is considered to be one of the world’s best natural sweet wines. Even Wine Advocate once described that this wine "gives Yquem a run for its money". 
 Despite its amazing quality, it still remains exceptionally well-priced and Vintage 2013 is a successful vintage for Klein Constantia’s Vin de Constance, awarded a fantastic 96 pts from Neal Martin, who described this wine “The palate is very well balanced with a mellifluous texture” and “This is awesome”, we have 12 bottles (50cl) arrived this week -

The 2013 Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Wine was matured in 500-liter barrels for around 36 months. It has a beautiful bouquet with honey, quince, pressed yellow flowers and Mirabelle. It has wonderful definition and purity. The palate is very well balanced with a mellifluous texture and beautifully judged acidity as it just sashays along. It fans out on the finish with honey, quince, a touch of rhubarb and ginger, extraordinarily persistent in the mouth. Matthew Day, current winemaker, opined that he thought the 2012 would be the best ever, but the freshness might see it overtaken. This is awesome.
