A Polish descent, whose father met his Burgundian mother after escaping from Poland in 1939. His mother was a leading light for Francois Mikuslki.  She introduced him to work in the domaine in Burgundy and allowed him to develop his own domaine later in 1992, which he inherited some plots in Meursault from his late uncle

Nowadays Francois Mikuslki has established himself as an amazing winemaker in Meursault. He uses very little oak in his Meursault as he insists to express the true purity and minerality from the soil and grapes. They went for label-less bottle design and simply used chalk paint inspired by the chalk writing on oak barrels during fermentation. We are glad to offer a wonderful collection of Francois Mikuslki Meursault from 2017 which is an outstanding vintage of Burgundy white, we are delighted to offer -

A classic Meursault nose features notes of hazelnut, pear, white peach and acacia blossom. The medium-bodied flavors possess a caressing mouth feel thanks to the abundance of sappy dry extract that also buffers the moderately firm acid spine shaping the lingering and again very dry finale.

A smoky combination of white orchard fruit, acacia, roasted nuts and a whiff of citrus gives way to more finely textured and lightly stony middle weight flavors that possess equally good dry extract, all wrapped in a markedly dry finish that possesses just a bit more overall depth and persistence. A more elegant and beautifully layered nose combines notes of spice, petrol, hazelnut and white orchard fruit with those of herbal tea and floral wisps. The caressing, round and impressively rich medium-bodied flavors also brim with dry extract that imparts a distinctly sappy texture to the gorgeously complex, penetrating and lingering finish. This strikingly intense effort is a knockout and clearly built-to-age.
