Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret has a history dating back to 1620 but was only named "Mongeard-Mugneret" in 1945 after Eugene Mongeard and Edmee Mugneret married, and is currently managed by the 9th generation Vincent and Anne. They have vineyards of approximately 30 hectares in total, spread across 35 different appellations in which many are located in Vosne-Romanee including top terroirs Richebourg, Grands Echezeaux and Echezeaux Grand Crus. The Domaine's wines are traditionally concentrated, with rich mid-palates and intensity, and nowadays are more elegant with a mild influence of oak.
