The most hallowed name in the world of Burgundy, possibly even the entire world of wines, given its quality and longevity of their wines, as well as the prices they fetch on the secondary market, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti owns or leases a total of 27.99 hectares of grands crus in Vosne-Romanée, Chassagne-Montrachet and (since 2009) Corton, including La Tâche, Romanée Saint-Vivant, Echézeaux, Grands Echézeaux, Richebourg, La Romanée Conti, Corton Bressandes, Le Montrachet, Corton Clos du Roi, Corton Renardes and Bâtard-Montrachet. These vineyards are all excellently located and have converted to complete biodynamics since 2007 after seven years of experimenting with the methods.
