Elise Bougy is a passionate and young female winemaker, who has a large interest in rare grapes and unique combinations but at the same time, also maintains complete respect for the terroir hence follows the principles of organic farming and use of biodynamic practices. She inherited 3 hectares of her family domaine, and there are two-thirds of the vineyards in Les Mesneux and Montagne de Reims 1er Cru, with one-third in Mesnil-sur-Oger Grand Cru. She has great passion and philosophy for winemaking and was one of the winners of the Prix des Artisanes organized by ELLE and supported by LVMH Group this year...

With a history dating back to the 19th century, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy is a family-run estate that has a holding of 9 hectares of vineyards, all planted to Pinot Noir and situated exclusively in Gevrey-Chambertin. They have remarkable, old-vine holdings in Lavaux-St-Jacques, Champeaux, Perrière and La Bossiere (Monopole), as well as a Mazis Chambertin. With five generations tending the vines, the Domaine is now managed by Philippe Harmand, who joined from the mid-2000s, with parents Gérard and Martine in support. They continue to implement traditional viticulture with no chemicals or insecticides used and the grapes are harvested by hand.  ...

With its origin dating back to 1928 when the Mercier family established itself in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine de Chezeaux owns nearly 60% of Griotte-Chambertin - the largest owner - and also Clos St-Denis, Chambertin as well as some parcels of Gevrey Premier Cru; however, the Domaine does not make any wines but instead the holdings are all farmed and produced by others, which is called a "en metayage" and those who "farm" the land are called the "metayers". The metayers are responsible for the farming, elevage, bottling and distribution and among the metayers are well-established names like Ponsot, Leclerc, and Berthaut....
